~ Ruby ~
Ruby is our little Princess and knows we find those big brown eyes of hers hard to resist.
People that come to visit get a laugh out of watching Ruby's sense of entitlement as she prances around the house
She really should be wearing a Tiara full time.
Ruby is hard to ignore as she enters a room and looks around trying to decide where the best location is to
preside over our guests and glides over to her selected couch and gets comfortable, whether you are sitting there or not
and cuddles in and begins a soft snoring, content with the knowledge she is where she belongs.
Ruby is really our "velcro" dog who likes to cuddle on the couch on top of you.
During the day Ruby glues herself to my side
and will wrap around me like a cat, until I give her attention.
She also loves to go for car rides and thinks it is funny to beat me to the driver's seat.
Ruby is a Grand Champion proving without a doubt she meets the breed standard but she is also
has superior intelligence and desire to please, obtaining her AKC and UKC Obedience and Rally Titles
earning 1st class placements and High in Trial awards over her competition and also achieving her
Weight Pulling title at 6 years of age proving she has beauty and brawn and is a very healthy girl.
Ruby also achieved her AKC CGC title proving she also has the perfect temperament to be a good citizen and therapy dog.
We have really enjoyed the Red Poodles total devotion to their humans and to be entertained by their personalities.
Ruby enjoys doing obedience and ties Joy and Razz for the first Standard Poodle in UKC history to obtain
a Coursing Aptitude Title and a Coursing Aptitude Excellence Title !!
Ruby is my best friend and while she is retired from our Breeding program, she continues
to be my official bed warmer. Ruby loves showing off so we will continue to show and trail her
giving her opportunity to earn the applause she so loves to earn.

Ruby is our first Red Standard Poodle.
She is also extremely intelligent.
We searched for over 5 years for a red coloured standard poodle
that also had the calm loving temperament, that we are so famous for.
We finally found the total package in "Ruby".
Ruby is colour bred, having both Red parents & red lines.
Ruby's lines inlcude all the world famous
Red Standard Poodle kennels such as Majestic, Shangri-la & Palmares.
We will be taking Ruby to a red colour bred male with jet black nose
to produce healthy, deep dark rich red puppies with black points (nose, eye rim, lips)
with incredible calm temperaments.
We feel by breeding dark reds together out of dark red parents
that the pups will remain a deep dark red and not lighten to apricot or have brown or pink noses.
Temperament is certainly our priorty and we are very proud of that.
Breeding healthy poodles is paramount.
Now we also add vibrant colour to our list of qualities !
