"Glory" - Red Female ~ Click to meet Glory ~
Height: 22.25"
Weight: 50 lbs
10 generation COI = 7.18%
(Daddy "Razz" @ 8 years of age and daughter "Glory" @ 2 years of age)
I love this photo as it really shows a consistency of "type" but also slight improvements.
A breeder's successful program, is reflected in the pups they produce, appearing like clones of their parents.
For those that don't breed, a Breeder's goal is to meet the breed standard with consistency of type
and also to improve their type each generation, to better meet the breed standard (a Breeder's blue print).
~ This photo really does exemplify my Breeding Program Goals for type, being accomplished ~
(Who would think this baby would grow to be a multi Best in Show Winner, UKC GrCh, CKC CH)
Let me first apologize for Glory being in a fru fru clip I swore I would never do !
However in order to offer the judges "presentation" that they are used to, I had to do it :(
"A STANDARD POODLE THAT MOVES CORRECTLY" !!
This is what we hear at every show from AKC/CKC/UKC/FCI Judges.
Glory does have well laid back shoulders and good rear angulation, correct oval feet
which contributes to proper reach and drive, that is correct Poodle movement.

Mom "Rose", Daughter "Glory" and Daddy "Razz"
Nice family photo showing how 'real' red does not fade
In this photo Rose is 8 yrs, Glory is 3 yrs, and Razz is 9 yrs old
Rose, Glory and Razz also showed in Rally and conformation that weekend too !
Glory was my last effort, to produce another stunning, loving puppy from old healthy foundation lines
To solidify the health and welfare of our future breeding program, before we retired our amazing Rose.
I was so shocked, when only "1" big fat puppy was born, but thank goodness it was a girl.
She was just beautiful, so fat, so red and so much coat on her, with beautiful black nose and lips, perfect, no glorious.
Glory was so fat and so big that she could only swim to her mom's nipple to feed, and feed she did, 24/7.
Of course Rose being the sweet mother she is, never objected, totally coddling her single puppy.
And we sure did the same, spoiling this little fat fur ball that took full advantage of her cuteness.
When Glory was 6 weeks of age, I made the choice to keep her. Glory went through a long ugly stage that
really had me doubting my choice in keeping her. But she was just too quirky and funny for me to let her go yet.
Thank goodness because it took Glory 8 months to grown into herself and be the stunning amazing show dog
That I had hoped she would be. And personality, well she is a delightful, loving handful that has me laughing all the time
well except when I'm showing her and she decides it would be funny to trip me or do circles, out of the blue, laughing while doing it.
Glory sure seemed to inherit her mother's funny sense of humour with making funny faces when ever we try to get a photo of her
sticking her tongue out, biting her lip(s) and just being goofy to make us laugh, photos which I share on her web page below.
Imagine my delight when Glory won Reserve Best in Show and also placed in UKC's Top Ten Standard Poodles for 2013 and again in 2014 !
However my most memorable moment was when Glory won Best of Breed at UKC's prestigious "Premier" Dog Show
over 21 other standard Poodles from all over North America, as this was a huge win over major quality competition.
The RBIS judge even said "I love her personality when she is showing". Yes Glory sure is full of that !
I look very forward to working with Glory towards her Performance and Working Titles in the future
Special thanks does go out to Allison Foley who believed in Glory
and finished her CKC Championship at 3 years of age in only 4 Shows with a Major
and a Group 2nd Win and points towards her Grand Championship title
Making Glory only the 12th, Red Standard Poodle in 177 years, to accomplish a CKC Championship
Special thanks also goes out to Laurie Soutar, who also believed in Glory
and was Glory's personal hair stylist, ensuring Glory would have that big hair for the show ring.
Laurie also believed Glory could do Agility and set out to train this silly girl
earning Agility titles, placements, including Rally and Obedience titles, despite Glory's clowning.

RBIS, BPIS, RBPIS, Champion "Bijou's Glorious Red of Rose"
(Glory beat out 21 other Standard Poodles across the entire world for this honour) ~ Wow our little baby has come a long way ~
"Why does Glory keep winning ?
Well check out this amazing reach and drive !
Pretty face, dark inky black pigmentation, proper eye colour and shape
nice high tail set, tight proper feet, loads of rear angulation and a good bite
of course excellent shoulder lay back, all these qualities so lacking in Poodles today.
This is why Glory keeps winning over professional handlers.
Glory is not 100% perfect, just pretty darn close.
Now then, imagine the stunning pups she will produce our next generation.
Beautiful photos done by Crystalizing Images
Glory loves the attention from the Judges
"WOW" look at her go !!
