In 2025 my goal was to find brown miniatures with ONLY ALL brown/black pedigree
(no silver, no white, no cafe, no blue, no parti color)
which was very difficult to find.
I spent months researching brown Miniatures, and I traced some really nice browns
back to a long time Respected brown breeder, who had very little internet presence in 2025
and at 84 years of age, had not shown, since his partner
UKC, AKC Judge: J. Ray Johnson passed in 2012.
Talk about coincidence, I showed my " Dare" under this judge and he was the first judge
to Love my girl, and even waited to watch and cheer her on to her Group Win that day.
Meg's breeder sent me a photo of this 6 month old brown girl and I was stunned by her pretty face
and despite a few challenges, of Timing, Distance, and arranging travel
I was soon on my way to pick up "Meg" and meet her Breeder.
And so I was able to get a dark brown show girl, from the long established DeRay Kennel.
Meg's first dog show, she achieved Best of Winners
and Meg quicky finished her CKC Championship (on her way to a Grand Championship)
with her handler Ryana White and at only 8 months of age and in 3 show weekends
with multiple Group Placements and Puppy Group Win !
Meg is currently being shown in AKC with Professional handlers.
When she finishes, I plan on doing Dog Sports with Meg,
whose main mission in life, currently, seems to be to find and destroy
all my crocs and to keep me on my toes. She is ALWAYS thinking
