Chia was a breeding I had planned on doing on paper, for many years.
I wanted to use Colonel with a slightly more refined girl to blend type and form.
The result was Chia who really is the complete package for me.
I was happy that she had size, head type and a super dark tight curly coat.
Chia's coat came in with soft long and short wiry bits, what we call "Ugly Duckling" coat
so I made the choice to shave it all down short and even, and start over growing show coat.
As you can see, her "ugly duckling" coat, well = "SWAN"
Chia tried showing CKC and she really did not enjoy the experience of being sent away.
So I decided to show her myself in UKC, and she finished her Championship VERY quickly.
I would love to continue showing her to her Grand, but Chai decided she was done.
What I didn't bargain for in this bigger and well muscled girl
was such a soft sweet nature so eager and willing to work and please.
I hope to enjoy doing many Dog Sports with my beautiful girl, "Chia"
However unfortunatly government lockdowns began and we have been unable to train
and attend any more events. Since "normal" has not returned after now into 3rd year
I have decided that Chia needs a family and to enjoy being a cherished pet.
